How to Deal with Hair Loss at Age 30

We’ve all heard the saying, “Our hair is our crowning glory,” but what if young individuals start losing hair at the age of 30?

The hair is the crowning glory because it symbolizes beauty, personality, or style. Also, the hair represents physical strength, while baldness may suggest the opposite.

On average, women lose about 100 strands of hair per day. This number is typical, but some women lose more and are already suffering from thinning hair in their 20s or 30s. Hair thinning is the slow but steady process of shrinking hair follicles that produce weaker strands that can no longer reach maximum growth potential. Some follicles stop growing hair, while some hair shafts become finer.

Causes of Hair Loss

Many men and women assume that hair loss comes with age. While men deal with receding hairlines and baldness, women’s hair starts thinning at the top of their head. There are many causes of premature hair loss.

1. Overstyling

Being able to style and color your hair is fun and a great way to express oneself; however, the excessive use of chemicals from hair treatments, including hair dyes and heating tools, weakens the hair shaft, making strands more prone to falling off.

2. Vitamin deficiency and crash diets

Hair needs various nutrients to be healthy and strong. Vitamins and minerals such as vitamins C, E, B12, iron, and zinc are essential for hair growth, repair, strength, and shine. 3. Pregnancy
